Construction begins for new Angmering care home

Work has begun on the construction of our ground-breaking 64 bed care home which will provide residential and dementia care and create 100 jobs locally.

Our new luxury development, which will be built by our sister company, Savista Developments is being built at a cost of £11 million on a 1.9-acre site at Pound Place, Roundstone Lane in Angmering.

The sites construction team, were recently joined by Parish Councillors John Oldfield, Sylvia Verrinder and Mike Jones to officially mark the start of the build.

Our care home when opened will include a café which will serve complimentary hot drinks and homemade cakes and biscuits, a state-of-the-art cinema and a luxurious hairdressing salon and therapy room. The spacious bedrooms will have their own full en-suites with showers and all bedrooms on the ground floor will have access to their own patio.

Other innovations at the home will include; an ice cream parlour, reminiscence lounge, garden room and an outdoor roof terrace.

Chair of Hallmark Care Homes and Managing Director of Savista Developments, Avnish Goyal said: “We have over 20 years’ experience building award-winning care homes. We are excited to be able to create a luxurious and engaging new care community in Angmering and to build this in partnership with our sister company.

“The home will provide residents with a place where they feel safe and supported to live an active and fulfilled life.”

The Angmering development is scheduled to open its doors to its first residents in late 2021.

The new development will be our 22nd care home and Savista’s fourth Hallmark care home project after launching in September last year.
