Savista Developments celebrates topping out at Midford Manor, the latest build for Hallmark Care Homes

A major milestone has been marked at a new, state-of-the-art, 80 bed Hallmark care home in Bath, Somerset which will include 15 luxurious suites alongside several state-of-the-art facilities.

The site’s construction team were recently joined by multi-award-winning Hallmark Care Homes’ Chair Avnish Goyal, MP for Bath Wera Hobhouse and the Mayor of Bath Councillor June Player to mark the next stage of the build.

As part of the special event, a stone block was pointed and a special commemorative plaque unveiled. Guests then enjoyed refreshments nearby and a presentation from the care homes experienced interior designer, regional hospitality manager and commissioning manager.

Midford Manor Care Home is being built by Savista Developments at a cost of £16 million on a 1.6-acre site at Frome Road in Bath. The home will provide residential, nursing and dementia care and create 100 jobs locally.

Facilities will include; a café that will serve complimentary hot drinks and homemade cakes and biscuits, a state-of-the-art cinema and a luxurious hairdressing salon and therapy room. In addition to spacious bedrooms with full en-suites, the home will have 15 exclusive suites which will include a fully fitted kitchenette with the latest appliances, a dining area, lounge as well as a large ensuite bathroom.

Other innovations at the home include; a wellness room that will support residents to build up strength and keep fit, a specialist dementia community that incorporates the latest technology and thinking in care home design as well as an abundance of outdoor space on all floors. This includes terraces, a roof garden and garden bar where residents will be encouraged to take part in gardening and enjoy the sun all year round.

Our caring and dedicated teams will be provided with ongoing training and support and much thought and consideration has gone into the design of this beautiful new home.”

Midford Manor is scheduled to open its doors to its first residents this autumn. The new development will be Hallmark’s 21st care home.
